I had a dental emergency and called when the office opened. Although their day was completely booked they worked me in for an appointment and took care of my emergency. Dr. John Coyne could not have given me better treatment or care. Everyone was so helpful, and I was greatly relieved to go about my day!

I love Coyne Dentistry. I have been coming here on and off since 2006. I haven't found a better dentist in the area. Very practical and great service! The dentists are very friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I had invisalign done here and I love how much easier it is to take care of my teeth. They also did my crown.

Dr Jon and every single person at Coyne Dentistry is truly amazing — genuinely kind, caring, professional and so very good at what they do! My daughter needed extensive repair work and Dr Jon and team not only did an exceptional job, he and everyone helped her emotionally get through a very long and tough process. I’ve been missing my molars for many years which has caused my bite to be off and TMJ issues. I had 2 implants placed by Dr. Molina yesterday. She made sure I was completely numb and comfortable before starting and it was over before I knew it! Had some discomfort that was manageable with ibuprofen and Tylenol. I woke up with zero pain this morning. Highly recommend!

Before I tell you how wonderful Coyne Dentistry is, I have to mention a bit about my family. We come with some unique challenges. My son (8) has sensory issues and can’t handle certain sounds like music, air conditioning, loud breathing at times, etc. He also has tactile sensory problems, so working on his teeth with drills was a non starter. Coyne Dentistry took the time to listen to all of this and made a plan to adjust their normal operating behavior to accommodate us. My son has already had two dentists fail him and as a result, his guard was up and his experiences were terrible. Everyone at Coyne Dentistry knew how to make him feel comfortable, explained what to expect and walked him three each step to keep him at ease during the whole process. He has been back for other appointments with no problems at all. My wife and I are overly thrilled about how stress free our appointments have been. We also have a teenager who is a patient there. She has experienced the same kind, patience service and likes everyone at Coyne Dentistry. Our family has trusted Coyne Dentistry since 1986. Dr. Jonathon Coyne and Dr. Meghan Molina, the hygienists and office staff are continuing the Coyne tradition of excellent care. As our kids grew, we particularly appreciated the understanding and respectful way the whole team treated them. There is no fear of dentists in our family, in fact, quite the contrary. Now in my senior years, I continue to look forward to my visits, knowing I'll be welcomed as part of the "Coyne Practice family" and treated with skill and kindness by everyone on the team. As an adult now going through Invisalign, Dr Coyne and staff are an integral part of the team. Dr. Coyne is also an excellent communicator. All the staff are upbeat, courteous and highly professional. You can tell this is a good place to work.

Best dentists in Kettering Ohio! Sweet, loving people that really seem to care for their patients. They are informative and supportive on your decision. I am very weary of dentist from back past experience and the dentist took that in account and were considerate. I won't go anywhere else,no matter what. Definitely worth going to.

Absolutely fantastic people. I have POTs and unfortunately had a bad reaction to the epinephrine in the numbing agent. Through the whole ordeal they took extremely good care of me. I decided to continue with the procedure after the issue and everyone was so nice making sure I knew I was in control of everything Never making me feel pressured. I can't recommend them enough!

I have been a patient of the Coyne family for over 30 years. I used the word “family” because that is how they treat you. Great staff, no nonsense care. They maintain contact to verify appointments and when you have to cancel, they do everything they can to get you back on the schedule if there are cancellations.

Dr. Coyne is amazing with all of his patients, but especially children. He makes dentistry easy, fun, and personable. Coyne Dentistry is fantastically caring and interested in making sure you don't feel terrified to go to the dentist. All the Dental assistants are very kind and friendly, Dr. Jon is very conscientious about explaining everything so that you feel confident you understand what is going on and why, and everyone is very patient and encouraging. In particular I need to highlight Mary today. Five stars, Mary. I needed to schedule a crown appt, and she had the cost info ready for me. When it turned out to be quite a bit more than I prepared for, I called her back two more times that day to ask questions to understand all the whats/whys/what ifs of the situation. She checked my file for me to confirm what the situation was, provided info about the potential risks and feasibility of putting the crown off to a better financial time frame, and what were the possibilities if the tooth were to fracture in the meantime, what if it fractured too deeply, what options are there if the tooth has to be removed and roughly what costs we'd be looking at in that case - every question I had so I could make an informed decision, from best case to worst case. Frankly, I thought I might have to schedule another appointment for that kind of info, and it was an unexpected delight that she could provide that for me over the phone. Thanks so much Mary for your help and patience!

The best dentist team this side of the Mississippi. The ladies at the front desk besides lovely and kind, are very helpful and always have timely responses. And Dr. Jonathan is the most kind and professional. Always so helpful and does great work. The hygienists and assistants are top tier. Amazing office, every part.

I’ve been going to Coyne dentistry for 44 years . I had my first major procedure today at the age of 73 . Dr Jonathan and his assistant Sara were wonderful making me feel relaxed and comfortable and easing my anxiety . The procedure was totally painless . Jonathan talked me thru the entire procedure . This team exceeded my expectations for this procedure. I and my family have always had exceptional care and treatment . Highly recommended

My experience at Coyne Dentistry has been excellent, which in my case is really saying something. I have pretty severe dental phobia and avoided dental treatment for years and years, resulting in a LOT of work being done. I was referred to Coyne, took a deep breath and got it ALL done. I have a long history of not showing up for or cancelling routine appointments because of my discomfort...but I am now done with all the big stuff (I never felt shamed there at all, which is a VERY big deal, doesn't happen everyehwere) and am just a regular check-up and cleaning person who attends every appointment. Never thought that would happen.The front desk staff are efficient and SO friendly and all of the hygienists have been terrific. Amazing.

As usual, all went very well. Dr. Abigail and staff are all very pleasant people and very professional in their labors. The process is frustrating and often uncomfortable but that comes from my feeling that all dentistry is frustrating and somewhat uncomfortable and everybody in the office seems to understand that and takes what measures can be taken to get their work done as quickly and as painlessly as performing quality and effective dental work allows.

I have been with this practice since 1975. My 33 year old twins started with this practice when they were 3. I’ve never had a complaint. The entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable with all procedures. I highly recommend this practice! 🌻

Update: I got a text prompt to leave a review, and it has been quite a while since my previous review and I've been several times since. They have continued to be awesome, understanding and helpful, and helped me to set realistic and achievable improvements in my regular dental care, rather than contributing to a pervading sense of inadequacy that I have felt regarding my teeth generally. Evidently the app remembered the text from my previous/original review, so I'm just gonna leave it here for others considering making a first time appointment. Highly recommend Coyne Dentistry! They are very kind and gentle. Dr. Coyne explained everything as he worked and even had a little dry erase board to sketch visual explanations for the work needed for my teeth. I'm not generally a person afraid of the dentist, but due to lack of insurance and personal reasons I haven't been to a dentist in years - so I was pretty worried about my teeth being painfully sensitive. (And also being scolded for how poorly I've taken care of them!) Their entry form actually includes questions about being afraid of the dentist and asks if you've had bad dental experiences in the past, so you can see even before you get started that they know many people struggle and they care about making your visit as smooth and painless as possible. There's a scale of 1-10 to rate your nervousness; I answered 5 and they noted that was pretty common, and that generally they'd just keep a dialogue going and that would probably be enough as a distraction, but the laughing gas was an option too if I wanted it. Also, I never felt judged about my teeth; Dr. Coyne even noted it looked like I was doing a good job brushing! I especially appreciated that because I had fallen out of the habit for a long time and just recently began working hard to restore and improve the habit and it was VERY encouraging to hear him validate that I was doing well. I cannot recommend them enough - if you're scared to see a dentist but know you need to, these people are the ones to see!

Coyne Dentistry is probably the best dental practice I’ve ever been to. The place just has… great energy! The office administrators are unflappable… they’re ALWAYS welcoming and super efficient - definitely On Point! The hygienists are awesome… they’re all adept at using the latest dental technology…(or at least that I’ve been exposed to) … highly skilled … very warm, & down to earth: the ultimate professionals. Lastly, Dr. Ryan Platt is probably the only dentist I have trusted with the dental care for me and my son. He tells it like it is….. ultimately he wants people to be healthy. He is genuinely more concerned with that than pushing the latest teeth whitening procedure on you … Sure if you go in asking about it you’ll get sound advice - but that’s not his MO. He’s also great with kids and teens! My son actually LIKES going to the dentist now.

I’ve been going here since I was a kid and I kind grew up around some of the people that have stuck around and they are always super caring and always asking if I’m doing well and what I’ve been up to in life and I genuinely feels really great to grow up with them like they’re family friends of mine. One the dentists also looks and sounds like Ryan Reynolds so that’s huge plus

OMYGOOODNESS!!! My teeth have never looked so PERFECT! I had broken a front tooth off and figured, 'Well, that will never be the same." And it wasn't. . .by the time all procedures were completed my teeth looked like they belonged in a dental ad for a perfect smile. NO exaggeration! At 76 y/o it's wonderful to have that going for you. Smiling a lot more now, Thank you SO MUCH, Dr. Ryan!!! Want to thank the dental assistants too, they were professional and extremely friendly and helpful. What a comfort to know going to the dentist can actually be a pleasant and rewarding experience.

Positive experience overall. They were able to get us in quickly, and the staff is wonderful. Unfortunately it’s not as much of a family practice as we need. We have five children, and Coyne Family Practice did not have the capability of placing a spacer for our son. They can give the antibiotics, and they can do basic cleanings, but for actual treatment, you’re better off finding a pediatric dentist if you’re looking for care for your children.

The staff, hygienists (I love Beth!) and doctors are an amazing team. They truly care about their patients as people and remember everyone's family. They are patient and understanding even with my kids who have been going there since they were 3 years old and they’ve learned to love going to the dentist. Thank you!

Our whole family has had positive experiences here the last 3 years, and they are wonderful with our toddlers! Dr Ryan and Dr Abigail are both super responsive to messages and realistic with what needs to be done. I’ve never felt pressured to get work done but feel like all our teeth are in very good hands!

The staff is great and thorough. They are accommodating booking me family/group appts, so I do not have to come in multiple times. Dr. R. Platt and Dr. A. Platt are pleasant and punctual. My family has been going to this location for the last several years and I have no plans on changing as they are the best group of dentist and professionals I have found in my area.

So was the commercial grade water pick that removed all the bad stuff of my teeth (no more metal scraper) & left my teeth so white, looked like I had a treatment!! Oh, cant forget, who doesnt do the tongue across their teeth after a cleaning! Perfect! Met with Doc & had a few issues. He gave me my options & let me choose. Now I like this!I'm normally clenching the arms of the chair due to anxiety & the unknown. Not this time. Everything was explained & the environment was relaxing! We have been long-time patients, dating back to when we first moved to Dayton in 1997. The service delivered has always been with care and concern, and it shows. It must be a great place to work because there is little/no turnover. I have had the same hygienist since before he moved into the new building. Everyone in the office feels like family. My whole family has been going to this dental practice for years. They are WONDERFUL. A couple of years ago, my youngest had to have a tooth removed and they were so gentle and made the process so easy for him. To this day he has no idea he even had a numbing injection (which I have terrible memories of as a child) - they are very skilled at making the whole process pain free! We do not have dental insurance so we appreciate the very reasonable prices and quality care.

I've been Dr. William Coyne's patient for over 30 years and I cannot overstate the quality of his dentistry practice. The facility is clean, conveniently located, and well equipped. Dr. Coyne and his staff are exceptionally courteous and capable. They seem to genuinely like each other and work together like a well-oiled machine. The turnover rate must be extremely low, as many of them have been there since I first became a patient! I have never had to sit in the waiting room longer than a few minutes before being seen. Coyne and his dental assistants are always intent upon minimizing any pain or discomfort, and their work has been consistently flawless. I recently chipped a tooth after a fall, and its rough edges were irritating my tongue. Despite the fact that the office is closed on Fridays, Dr. Coyne opened it up within 20 minutes of my call to his home (the number was provided in the office's telephone greeting) and he came in just to fix my tooth. This is typical of the level of concern and responsiveness that I have experienced with Dr. Coyne senior, Dr. Coyne junior, and the entire staff.

My family searched for almost 4 years around the Dayton area for a dentist that had a small family vibe but also practiced with integrity until we found Coyne Dentistry. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming! Dr. Ryan and Dr. Abigail are the absolute BEST!!!! My family actually looks forward to going the dentist and seeing all the friendly faces!!
